This design was made by Custommadewraps and tested by Mike Schloesser. Initially to tackle challenges some compound shooters experienced.

The Wave Edge was designed to battle the mechanical stress wraps endured when using plastic vanes. When shooting a compound bow the vane to wrap bond can endure a lot of stress. Due to small grouping the vanes will be touching other arrows. When these vanes are glued on the top layer and close to the overlap line it can happen that the stress of the arrows touching each other can separate the vinyl from the shaft. Although this can be solved by gluing the vanes further from the overlapping edge, we designed this Wave Edge. This design will not encounter in any vane placement position. This makes it easier to glue on your vanes as positioning is not critical.

By placing the name in between the vanes, the wrap can be extremely short. This can be ideal if you are looking for a light design or simply like the look of a shorter wrap.
