Our new and improved website is online!

So many hours have gone into getting our new website ready for launch.
Is it perfect yet? No, but will a website ever be?
I want to talk to you a bit about why and what we changed.
Why we changed
Well, basically, because we needed to. Although the previous website, which we build from scratch, was perfect for us in the beginning. After a few years technology caught up on us.
We can sum up hundreds of reasons why we needed to move to a different platform. But not to bore you to much, we will mention a few.
Lack of flexibility
Due to the way the site was build, making simple changes wasn’t fast. Therefore these changes we sometimes not made.
Flash
We used flash for moving images. This is not a reliable industry standard anymore.
Mobile integration
We all know how easy we can shop online via our mobile devices. With a lot of build in security in these devices it is a lot easier then on some desktops.
We didn’t have one, we do now!
Reliability issues
It was old, grumpy at times, but most of all, ready for retirement.
Service issues
With our growing customer numbers, we were unable to service our customers with the quality even we would expect.
So many times we knew we needed to do better, but we couldn’t.
Lets talk about some of the improvements we are particularly proud of.
So what did we change to improve our website?
The base of the website is an open source platform that is serviced by technicians from all over the world. This ensures us that we get regular updates to the backbone of the website.
The website will be safer and reliable, but that is not what you will notice directly.
Lets talk about some of the improvements we are particularly proud of.
Better product imagery
We have changed all the images of our products. Since we have many different designs available, this has been and will continue to be a lot of work for us.
However, this is now such an automated process that we will be able to make fast adjustments now and in the future.
Are all previous designs on the new website? No.
Some designs have been removed because there was no demand. Others have been slightly changed. And new ones have been added.
At time of publication of this article some designs are not yet migrated. However, the best sellers are!
New shop environment
The new shop has many new features to improve the way you can browse our products. You can for example search brands, Product categories, Vane length and type.
On the wrap side we particularly like the fact that you can filter colours. This way you can find your desired style fast.
Shorty Arrow wraps
This design was made by Custommadewraps and tested by Mike Schloesser.
Initially to tackle challenges some compound shooters experienced.

Local currency
We have several local currencies on our website which will automatically be available for you.

We really like to have feedback on this option, so do not hesitate to give some here.
Other products
Although we have been focussing on arrow wraps and vanes, we have already added more products to our website.
In general these products will have a relation with the arrow.
